About the Research Center
Benefiting from the expertise of the faculty members at University of Kashan in related scientific areas and programs, the Research Center for Architecture and Urbanism was established to expand the scientific-research and implementation borders and operate in three areas of research, implementation, and documentation.
Research: this center aims to hold scientific seminars, conferences, and workshops and also invite national and international experts in order to promote research amongst students, experts, and enthusiasts.
Implementation: benefiting from the valuable experiences of the professors at areas such as architecture, renovation, civil engineering, urban planning, and sociology, this center aims to establish its scientific and practical abilities in the city, region, and the country and act as an assistant to the executing organs as a scientific and implementing prowess.
Documentation: The Research Center for Architecture and Urbanism intends to provide the national and international applicants and researchers with priceless documents on subjects related to architecture. Reviewing and publishing the existing researches is another important step this center is working towards.
Prospectus
The Research Center for Architecture and Urbanism sees the current situation of the nation as “the decade for progress and justice” and tends to play its role in this area. Therefore, the most central task of the center in the present circumstances is to shape the “Islamic-Iranian Pattern in Architecture” and its mission is to “generate scientific knowledge” and “training architectural engineers”.
The role will be observed in the following trends:
- Teaching (reviewing the courses and curriculum)
- Research
- Publishing papers, books, and research reports
- Holding regional, national, and international conferences, seminars, etc.
- Holding talks or forums on interdisciplinary subjects
- Participating in and holding competitions, seminars, conferences, etc.
