About the Center for Architectural Documents

Faculty of Architecture and Art was founded in 1995 and the Center for Architectural Documents was established 5 years later in 2000.

“To Honor Science, Scientist, and Student – To Provide Service to Them” is the motto of this center.

In order to provide assistance to scholars and students, the center is collecting and classifying the documents and research-scientific projects of the students in architecture. It is comprised of three units: monography, maps, and moquette. This research center has always been responsive to students, professors, and researchers. Annually, a number of new study projects conducted by University of Kashan’s students is added to the existing data. Since the current documents, models and moquette are unique and non-printed, there are kept at the center and are available only by attending the center’s unit for documents and moquette.
