Units of the Center for Architectural Documents

Monography Unit

This unit is one of the most important sections in the center. More than 1018 separate documentations which are all students’ study projects and the graduates’ dissertations are preserved at this unit. These projects have subjects such as Islamic Architecture of Iran, World Architecture History, Understanding Iranian Rural Architecture, Theoretical Frameworks of Architecture, Renovation and Restoration of Historical Sites and Texture are addressed in them.

Maps Unit

This unit collects, classifies, and archives maps of historical sites in Iran along with rural maps and architectural plans. Currently, more than 330 map collections which is comprised of plans, section cuts, street front, and 3d images of historical sites.
